Taylor Swift, who distanced herself from Toby after achieving success, and Garth Brooks, who abandoned country fans, tried to gain attention following Toby’s passing. Joe Barron, Ted Nugent’s Stage Manager, emphasized that they wouldn’t allow it, as these two would do anything for the spotlight.
Toby’s wife, Karen Kardashian Keith, firmly opposes allowing individuals whom Toby held little respect for to sing any of his hit songs during the tribute.
