Sylvester Stallone Turns Down $250 Million Offer From Target: “I Don’t Do Woke”
Sylvester Stallone, the man as elusive as a cat in a dog show regarding woke companies, has been busy batting away offers left and right. The latest, a whopping $250 million proposal from Target, shows the lengths to which leftists will go to woo our beloved celebrities to their camp.
“I’m not sure who pegged Sly as woke,” his manager, Joe Barron, mused, “But they couldn’t be more off the mark. He’s a God-fearing American who’s brought to life one of the most patriotic characters in our nation’s illustrious history: John Rambo.”
Not to mention, he played a crucial role in rescuing the two turtles from the original Rocky movie, and then there’s the heartwarming tale about his dog. Sly is a national gem, so when he declares, “I won’t go woke,” it carries weight.
Stallone joins the ranks of Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, and Angelina Jolie for some inexplicable reason, in renouncing the entire ideology of wokeness.
